WNBC Secures Major WeatherNet Sponsorship with JEEP

Gaithersburg, MD - AWS, Inc.  is pleased to announce that WNBC-TV in New York has secured a major TV/Internet convergence sponsorship with JEEP. The new WNBC-JEEP partnership generates significant new revenue for the station in on-air and online categories. JEEP funding will also provide for expansion of WNBC's WeatherNet to 50 additional schools, extending WNBC's ability to provide viewers with hyper-local and personally relevant weather content - on-air and on the NewsChannel4 web site.

"This new partnership with Jeep clearly demonstrates WNBC's superior commitment to schools, and to their respective communities who rely on this hyper-local weather information," said AWS President, Bob Marshall. "The program truly has a profound impact on education and on each community that participates in WeatherNet. We are extremely pleased to be a partner in WNBC's highly successful program."

AWS, Inc. is the world leader in delivering hyper-local convergence products for broadcast television and the Internet.
